6th Grade Digital Citizenship

What do you think it takes to be a good Digital Citizen?   The CMS 6th graders will be studying Digital Citizenship this week.


We will watch this video from NetSmartz and then students will use inquiry style learning in order to find out more about this important topic!

To be a good digital citizen never give out any personal infomation of yours or anyone else's. Once it's online, the public has seen it! Don't give out your phone number!

It's important to be safe online. The Internet is a fun way to do homework,connect with friends,and just waste your time,it is also a good way too get in trouble.you should not give away personal information

Cyberbullying is not safe. In the article we read, someone told everyone on Facebook that they were divorced so they got creepy things

Online predators are those who target children online. They target children because, they are naive and curious. So when they talk to those who will target kids like that, they build a relationship and the more they build a relationship between you and them,the more they can over power you

dont forward emails with personal information

Cyberbullying is a really bad thing.People who are victims usually are bullies.when people send a message and it's is bad u should step away from the computer or phone.
